Scrap wool hat

Well Mr C is on his annual “we have to eeconomise” ritual. Which means not having the heating on (he says it is as warm as some summer days - aye summer in Greenland). And not buying new stuff. So to earn some of his brownie points I knitted this hat from left over wool. It was good fun to do, even with frozen fingers.

The children are here for the weekend. Nathaniel had a clatter off his scooter and Ella brought him in crying with a bloody nose. He has grazed the skin off all down the front of his nose. I put some tea tree ointment on it. Ella loved the smell so found a graze on her knee.
