Winter pond

I've not been very far today but I have completed my tax return :-))

Looking through the window I was struck by how good the dried leaves looked against the white of the snow and voilà - today's blip!

I was on my way to see Brian, who is printing my A3 photos for the Yorkshire Photographic Union (YPU) annual competition, this afternoon but once I realised how tricky the snowy conditions were getting I gave up the idea pretty quickly.

So we're inside enjoying toasted crumpets and the warmth of the stove. The best place to be on an evening like this!
