Another Sunday, another sunset

Early start to pack up and head to our home for the next 2 nights - Durham Grange caravan site. Planned to leave at 10.30 and were on the road by 11 so not a bad result for us.

Our plan on arrival was to put up the awning to check it was ok (bought in Birmingham in October but still in box) before we head to Spain. but first the usual setting up, putting on the electric and switching on the gas. Electric was fine but there is an issue with the lever to open the gas locker as it no longer works!
Just as well the van is going in to the dealers in the morning.
We can run quite happily on electric only but it scuppered our plans for tea - previously frozen lasagne and garlic bread as I wasn’t keen on microwaving them so quick trip to the supermarket before it shut at 4 - not used to these opening hours in Scotland!

Back to the site to put up the awning - reasonably quick to do and fortunately all bits were there so we’re pleased with that.

Then time to sit inside and read in the warmth.
