Heathrow

Heathrow airport on a snowy day. We were supposed to fly here from Newcastle but found out half way there that our fight was cancelled because Heathrow was preparing for the expected snow!

So we drove here through blizzards, fog etc; joy. A mere 300 plus miles.

The picture shows a lot of cancellations and delays. It is now1734 and the 1515 flight to Singapore is just boarding.
The amount of snow is no more than 5 cm. why are we so useless at managing this?
