On the way again

To Tampere for my first trip of 2020. A very smooth trip, although it was an exceedingly early start to take the sparrowfart Amsterdam flight. We got here, dropped our stuff off at our AirBnB (one we've used before so we were familiar with everything), went to the University to collect our bag of stuff left here, and were back in the flat having a cup of tea shortly after 5pm. It's a wee bit chillier here than in Edinburgh, but unlike last January there is no snow on the ground in the city. Saw some from the train on the way up here though, but not large amounts.

Thereafter, we went to an excellent Malaysian restaurant which we found when we were here in September. A bit pricey. And we probably ate more than we should (somehow we omitted to have a proper meal yesterday so we were ravenous).

But if this is to be the last trip as an EU citizen (for me, not for Mr A, the Irish bastard), then it's nice that it should be Tampere which is one place that has been offering me a European future.
