Paltry

After all that hype about the snow storm…this is what happened in Seattle overnight.. (with some “colored pencil” help. )    Nothing even stuck to the sidewalk.   I saw buses with chains.  I’m from the midwest (Chicago) so it’s hard to fathom how freaked out people get here …but after living here 50 years, eek,  I’m the same!   This lilac is getting buds. 


The success of the day was to get our two airline reservations (with miles!) for a whole family trip next summer that we’ve been agonizing over for various reasons.    Did it used to be much easier or is it just that we’re much older and it’s all much harder?
