Book club day

7 of 10 of us managed to get to book club today for lovely soup and bread and cookie lunch and a good catch up and also discussion of  Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Garcia Marquez .    A bit of new snow but the streets were clear, and only one who lived in more winter circumstances couldn’t get there..   it snowed for awhile but then as we watched , the sky started from the left ( here) and turned blue and the sun shone!    (Extra).   Still, the high school basketball game was cancelled tonight :-(.. it’s very cold and more snow and ice is predicted.   This is Mary who is the 4th of this group moving to a retirement home in 2 weeks,   Our hostess just 2 weeks ago had to transfer her husband to the memory care unit in this retirement home.   Such big adjustments.  Such good support.
