Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Eldest Mini Princess has her first prelim (Chemistry) today. She isn’t one to dwell on an exam once it’s finished so I take”ok” as a positive as that’s as effusive as her post exam feedback ever gets. Her exams are quite crammed - she has 4 out of the 5 this week but she has a week sleeping until lunchtime after they finish until study leave ends.

The Youngest Mini Princess came home traumatised because they had been discussing contraception in PSE and her teacher shared that his wife used to have a contraceptive implant (“honestly, her fertility was back within DAYS of it being removed”) but he has now had a vasectomy (“my family call it joining the club”).

Next week is the condom lesson with the plastic penises (“it’s one of the few times you get to practise before the real thing”).
