And the road goes ever on....

...... on the A68.

A relatively quiet night after my worries it was going to be overly windy. Not too much rain either after the deluge that greeted us on arrival at the campsite last night - I do so love horizontal rain.

Relaxed start to the day and we were on the road by 11.
Chose to head home via the A68 as there was wind forecast on the A1 and hadn’t appreciated just how straight the road is - very uppy downy though so it was a fun drive.

Home to empty the motorhome, put on the washing, sort the dishwasher and generally get caught up on chores.

After dinner (fake kedgeree made with tuna) I took myself out for a couple of loops of the estate - walked for around an hour and it felt really good after sitting in the van for 3 hours.
