2020 Tuesday — Once a Day

About one o’clock, Mr. Fun & I walked to the Cayucos pier, sat and watched the surfers for a while, and then walked back to the house.

Later in the afternoon we took the pups to the community of Morro Bay to walk in Tidelands Park right next to the back bay and the moored boats. The current of the tide was still going out of the bay, all the boats were pointing away from the harbor’s entrance. The breeze was strong and cold; I realized immediately that I should have brought my winter coat with me. I was only wearing my hooded sweatshirt for warmth. I was cold. The pups loved walking, but now that they are older our walks are much shorter. Getting back in the car was a relief from the cold. We headed for home so that we would not miss sunset.

Sunset was spectacular! It only happens once a day. If we miss it, . . . well we try really hard not to.
