Neighbourhood Wood Pigeon

One of the neighbourhood pigeons perched a lot closer to the house today.  I think that it was sheltering from the weather, following Storm Brendan and the subsequent high winds.  This one seemed to enjoy seeing movement inside the house; normally they are quick to fly off.
