Goodies from the Canaries

We only brought two non-edible items home from our holiday - I couldn't resist getting one of these little lizards, for the wall of our garden room, and we also got a fridge magnet.

Other than that - well, we had to have some local gin, didn't we?  And also, ron miel (honey rum), which is made locally, and you often get brought a little glass with the bill in restaurants - we bought 2 bottles at the airport.

We were very fond of the pan con alioli served in many restaurants, and while realising it isn't difficult to make it yourself, we also treated ourselves to a bottle of ready made stuff.  And we enjoyed the mojo rojo on the local Canarian potatoes, so had to get a jar or two - we've ended up with several jars of that, and mojo verde - but we will be giving some away to others.
