Open Wide! + Wide Open!

Saw the dentist today - he said he should be able to fit a new crown after root canal treatment and placing a new post. I have to go back on Saturday for the treatment; not looking forward to it!

Otherwise a good day. We both took Bella May walkies this morning. She loves it when we both go. It was very muddy. We went 'The Flashes' which is a flood plain and wild life haven. Last year the villagers were up in arms as the area was bulldozed and dug up in preparation for a hotel that had got planning permission even though the locals had protested vehemently. Nobody is sure what is going on behind the scenes but the birds are getting on with life and are returning to the area. Hopefully in the Spring the muddy banks will green up and provide some long grasses for the wading birds to hide in and the deer will return for a drink. It's a beautiful place.

The train carriages are old and derelict. I think the graffiti was done in the city - maybe Leeds - before they ended their journey at Hellifield.
