Smiling in the face of adversity!

The letter she never wanted to receive arrived this afternoon. She took the news very well, a little quiet but still very well. Learnt her friend had the other sort of letter and was pleased for her. Went into class and came out with plans of how to move on. Big decisions to be made in the coming weeks/months. I actually couldn't be more proud of her than I am about how she handled herself today. Whatever happens in the coming weeks/months/years, I am constantly impressed with this child and her resilience and her determination to achieve her goal.
