Online violin continues

Stressful this morning at 08.15! First of all the sound was awful, then it stopped working altogether. Then he had to do his lesson without his E string which snapped yesterday and the replacement has arrived yet. Anyway it was done. As was home schooling for the week. Hurrah!

E string arrived mid afternoon and I learnt a new lockdown skill, restringing a violin. Tuning it was harder. This violin is particularly tricky to tune and remain in tune, at least in comparison to the previous violin.

Four weeks to half term. Consultation on cancelled GCSE's is out today, so that will make great bedtime reading and from the sounds of it our borders are pretty much sealed. Things just keep on getting better!
