Redwood
This redwood tree is in the formal garden in the local park. Even on the darkest, wettest of days it looks worthy of artistic attention.
I really was very dark at lunchtime but I watched a Treecreeper working its way along a very long wall checking every mossy section. Eventually I got a photo worth including as an Extra photo.
Mum had her hair cut by Kevin who has been visiting the house once a month for about 25 years! The talk was of politics, it often is on these occasions. We discussed possible Labour leaders and I investigated the background of our new Conservative MP ... he worked on the Fish Counter at ASDA while at University ... to satisfy their curiosity.
I had a Lemsip at 3pm because of congestion and earache then fell asleep for an hour! On waking went to M&S (in the dark) for a couple of essentials and to pick up the now free Local paper. (Now its free it’s grab a copy on day of publication or no chance). Essential to see the deaths of course, today Mum spotted one who was a local Bank Manager from the days when local bank managers looked after customers - remembered with affection.
I signed a petition from the Wildlife Trusts asking the PM to scrap HS2. I signed to save the countryside but also to encourage the spending to be on. Repairs and Improvements of existing transport links.
I wonder if this is the start of me writing more on Blipfoto like I did years ago ? Check back tomorrow to see.
