Cheerful On A Dark Day

Storm Brendan arrived today. We didn’t get the worst of it in this area but we got a lot of rain and the wind was strong enough to be howling down my chimney! I stayed home all day and got paperwork done mostly. I was thankful for these beautiful tulips which my sister brought me the other day! They added some cheery colour on a dark day AND an emergency blip!

I also finished the puzzle today! With some help from my lodger who was much better at doing the sky than I was. We were really struggling and then all of a sudden it all came together and the last 20 or so pieces went in very quickly! See Extra photo.
