Trees always win!

After all the stories on the news this morning, I was expecting to wake up to a sort of post-apocalyptic world with 100 foot snow drifts. We had a bit, but not as bad as some of the rest of the county, so we decided to go for a bit of a drive to see what we could find.

We were driving down a steep and potentially slippery bit of road at about 15mph, and I commented to my good lady that I wondered if we were going a bit too slowly, and then we found this at the bottom of the hill. Having a snow program is fantastic for traction, but it doesn't help you stop!! At least the Land Rover didn't break down... :-)
