On Monday, this scene will look quite different. Obama will have his 2nd inauguration and a crowd of a million+ will fill every available spot on what we call the "Mall." I'm still trying to decide whether or not I want to join the happy revelers, but, as I'm not a fan of freezing temps, I might just pass.

This shot is from the side of the Lincoln Memorial at one end of the Mall, looking down the length of the 1-mile landmark, past the Washington Monument (the obelisk that stands 555 feet tall) and towards the Capitol building, where the swearing in ceremony will take place.
