with a single rose - and who doesn't enjoy roses... although i'm certain there are those who don't especially like them - they don't rank as my number 1 all time favorite - however, there is such variety and their fragrance can be unmatched... in case you were wondering - i dug up some quirky facts regarding red roses - yes, i did - because i'm on a pursuit of expanding my knowledge -

-red roses are given to those who you want to show love and passion - people who you have great respect for - and/or those who have shown great courage
-the quantity can also have special meaning: 1 shows love - 12 shows gratitude - 25 shows congratulations - and 50, unconditional love! whew...
-oh... plus - 2 red roses tied together - symbolizes an engagement
