A wee trip...

...just up the road. The wee fella has been asking to pay a visit to the Bannaockburn Heritage Centre for the last fortnight. Put him off last weekend...it being the first weekend after the first long week back at work after the holidays. Promised today was the day so we headed up there just before noon.

It is a good exhibition. The 3D effects are great with folk dying on the battlefield right in front of you!

He wanted to take part in the battle simulation...which was also good fun.

Grateful for history on our doorstep and a nice day to enjoy it.
