Everybody's out on their 4x4's today....

Sat at my desk now with bacon sarnies and a hot tea whilst watching Saturday Kitchen. It's so Saturday morning. The trip down to get the papers wasn't so pleasurable. The normal route was blocked by someone who thought they'd drive a little Hyundai Getz up a 1 in 4 hill in six inches of snow. Half way up the hill (did well to get that far) it slid backwards and wedged itself sideways across the narrow road. Oh deary me. A detour along a farm track and we encountered another obstruction, this frisky 4x4 being lead back to the garage for repairs - I suppose. I'm staying indoors for the rest of the day. This is the street to my home.
