Grand Union

It was a lovely, cold, crisp,bright sunny day so we decided to go out for a wander.  We walked across Cassiobury Park in Watford, and then along the Grand Union Canal as far as The Grove Bridge (no. 164).  There were plenty of cyclists and walkers out, with lots of children and dogs.  The lovely weather had definitely attracted the crowds, and there was a rather long queue in the Park cafe to get our coffees.

There were a few boats moving on the canal.  We realised it is about 13 years since we last took a boat on the canals ourselves (apart from a short return pleasure trip a little over three years ago).  Perhaps it's something we ought to do again.
