Another Early Start

Off over the hill to Hawick this morning, to collect the carpet-cleaning machine. Bright sunshine breaking through the chinks in the heavy cloud overhead. It was fascinating to watch, and went on for several hours till the gaps closed and greyness returned.

Another day of household stuff. The annoying thing is that the chaos seems to be increasing. Maybe tomorrow when we can start putting the furniture back in the rooms where it belongs, things will all fall into place :-)  

Not without a lot of heaving and shoving on our part, I suppose.
