At last I managed to go visit the rose garden and conservatory (main) at the Botanical Gardens.
Yes, the rose garden is a bit formal for my regular taste in planting, but there some interesting varieties that I will have fun trying to source (probably unsuccessfully) when I get back.
A few are roses bred by distant relations on my dad's side of the family.
Here's one I would like: I have a similar-looking yellow one with a red "eye" already. (Extra)
