Treasure

Last full day in NZ, and we took the kids first to near Moa Point, and then to the other side of Lyall bay. At the first place, I picked these small abalone shells, and another pretty shell up. I took this with them balanced on my leg!

Later on, after 11pm, our conversation was briefly interrupted by a small earthquake, which bumped the chair I was on. Nothing rattled, though.
I've visited 6 times in the last nearly 12 years, and that's the first I've actually felt.
It was under the sea, a few miles northish of here, apparently. 5.4 from the last report we saw before bedtime.
