A Lisbon Day

This morning we drove to Lisbon and dropped Mike off for a meeting. We then parked the car by the Praça do Comércio on the riverfront, and set off into the city. We wandered around the hilly city; some woulld say we ate our way around the city. First there was coffee and toast, then icecream, then a sourdough  sandwich and more coffee, and finally the blipped ice-cream - round two (at Nannarelle's)! We saw wonderful views, interesting places, quirky shops and the city. We walked up, and down, some really steep streets!
At the end of the day we found our way back to the river and sat in the sun, listening to Reggae played live, and finally walking along the river, through the crowds sitting in the now setting sunlight, and headed for home - stopping for one more interesting and delicious meal on the way home, in Montemor-o-Nova.
