Trouble

At the window and in my bank balance.

The window, is Mom's bedroom window.  Whilst we were having "breakfast in bed", this morning, I caught something moving, out of the corner of my eye.

This is the something.

They've just started on the construction.  Unfortunately, it is not a construction, that can be allowed to continue.  Mom will have to DOOM it, later today.

It's back to the farm for me.  JUST.  There is a BIG issue....

At this point in time, I have not been "paid" for 2019, which is why there is now trouble in the bank balance. It's been made worse, by the fact that, to save money, I opted to do the once a year, payment plan to Edgar, instead of the monthly payment.

It is due, tomorrow.

I was counting on the money from Karen, to make the payment.


The payment issue was raised, yesterday.  Her excuse - she FORGOT. 

But, it's more complicated than that................. she doesn't have the money, to pay me. 

I think she doesn't have money, to pay the farm staff either.  They are expecting their December salaries, tomorrow and unlike me, if they don't get paid, their will probably be a MURDER.

Literally.  This is South Africa.

I am angry.  She has no quarms about spending money, despite the fact, that she has planted NOTHING, this year. 

I should tell her to go to hell, but I am a push over - so I am back, sorting out the time sheets etc., to facilitate the payment of the staff tomorrow.

On a happier note, I got lots of WOOF cuddles. 


I never did get "bulldogs for Christmas" - apparently Santa, decided, I had not been a "good" girl.   Eish !

Kaydee and Zoey, have been in another dog fight - so visiting with Kaydee now requires a 15 minute walk.  She is "living", in the staff quarters. 

Finally.......I have SERIOUS car trouble.  The car was more noisy, than usual, but, things escalated, somewhere on the back roads of Kempton Park. There was an odd sort of ping noise - like something dropped out of space and then all hell broke loose. 

The noise was horrific, but the car seemed to drive okay.

I was terrified, but since I was closer to Edenvale than Springs, I just kept going.  I did get home.
