I must have seen at least 30 today

Robins that is, i visited a local RSPB site today, so many hungry birds luckily i had my bag of mealworm with me and there were lots of robins. I don't think i've ever seen so many, with various degrees of tameness. i also got to see my first long tailed tit, very comical and sweet and as yet a bird i've yet to put a name too. It was pink in colour with a beak similar to a chaffinch but was not a jay. I'm wondering if it could have been a Hawfinch. Any ideas.
