Viburnum

This viburnum is just coming into flower - although there are more than 150 species of this plant. I think this one is Viburnum davidii.

I spent some time watching and listening to a robin which was a couple of yards away when I was back at yesterday’s witch hazel. I’m sure the birds are singing more now than a few days ago - that’s a definite sign of spring.

I had thought I might make it to my nearest shop for the first time since my hip operation, but in the end I decided to play safe and not go as far. Maybe tomorrow...
