You know you're a parent when...

...instead of throwing your clothes in the wash at the end of the day, you leave them by the side of the bed, knowing you'll need them in the night.

Understandably, Ernie was in a bit of a huff following yesterday's surgery. He took an awful lot of consoling but he's finally calming now. On the brighter side, he appears to be feeding easier than before so hopefully he'll continue to improve as time goes by.
