The Boss.
Lovely day today. About an inch of snow, not too much to block the roads, just enough for sledging and Snowman making.
Dancing for No 3 after which she was out in the snow before you could say 'brass monkeys'. We headed for the local playing fields - the hills aren't too big (there are bigger ones on the golf course nearby) - but you don't need a chairlift to get to the top after each run.
No 1 is taking Photography for her Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award - she and I sneaked off for a walk in the Dell nearby. It was great mother/daughter time - taking photos, talking photos, looking at photos. Loads of blip opportunities.
Back on the slopes No 3 was still sledging, making snow angels and snowballs. She insisted we transport all her snowballs back to our garden on the back of a sledge.
No 2 has just phoned to say she is on the train back from London. She has had a great couple of days - but looking forward to her own bed tonight.
Here's Mr S. He is a very patient man (and carried all the snowballs back for No 3 - I know what my answer would have been!) - He thinks he's in charge, but with a house full of women - we know better.
(but don't tell him!)
p.s. sorry about the spots on the lens - just spotted them. From last nights snow blip!
