Paringa Lifting Bridge 1927

One many bridges on the River Murray. 

The central part once carried trains, now it’s a cycle / walking path. One lane of road each side. One section lifts up to let big boats through. Back in the day they were paddle steamers, now just the occasional two story boathouse!

We camped next to this one. Lots of water-skiers and ducks at the camp. 
I love ducks!
