Well jammed...

...and that was our entertainment after breakfast this morning...

Everything came to a halt for a good half hour as this bus grounded as it tried to turn round in the village. It was completely wedged, and people came with chocks and jacks and bits of wood to raise the back end. When the politzei arrived, the driver was just able to force the back wheels on to the impromptu platform and drive forward. Many cheers as the blocked traffic set off up and down the valley - silly driver!
Once that excitement was over, we wandered up to the Alpine Museum for a look round, as we're not leaving til 1pm. It was originally built as part of the avalanche defences after the huge avalanche in 1999 that killed 31 people. Part of the memorial is in extras, along with some of the amazing mirrored exhibits.
Fingers crossed now for a hassle free journey home...
