Happy New Year........

..... the celebrations continue only not on as big a scale as usual but the Chinese who have travelled here are determined to party as hard as ever but the numbers apparently are well down.

I stopped at the temple this morning and there was a large party of people there with many of them (men and women) dressed in red and setting of fire crackers, taking photos and making offerings to ancestors.  I didn't expect to see anything like this when I set out so it was all a very pleasant surprise.
