psst - gie's a sausage, pal
To the butchers first thing this morning (see extra). As I was waiting my turn, a nose poked through the bead doorway. There was a lot of whimpering and sniffing.
All the meat is sourced with 30 miles, from farms that the butchers knows. We only eat meat about once a week now, and it's good not to have to buy it from a supermarket, especially as our house is just behind the shop.
I talked to dog and gave him a pat when I left. He was more interested in the contents of my bag than me.
