Treacherous

This scene in front of my house may look innocent and calm for a Saturday morning. But the street which normally appears black asphalt is coated in 3 cm/ 2 inches of ice! It is 28ºF/-2.2ºC and no one is out on the roads.
The predicted ice storm only last about an hour rather than all night and this morning. So, we are lucky. it will melt by afternoon.
So much for the Catskills weather report.
It is a good day for me to stay in, keep warm, and try to finish beading a pillow cover for a friend's birthday coming up this week.
