More Witch Hazels

After a potter round the Farmers' Market and fuelled by a bun from the Andante bakery stall and a cup of excellent Northern Edge coffee, we wandered in Princes Street Gardens, finding this Witch Hazel (Hamamelis mollis) along with winter-flowering cherry, viburnums, snowdrops and winter aconites to cheer up the chilly, damp day.
