View from the gondola

A day of exhaustion for me, combination of heat absorbed and energy expended I guess. All I have managed to do is get ready for my 2 day hike along the Routeburn track which I start tomorrow. It is one of the 10 Great walks of New Zealand so have been excited about it, just hope some energy returns to my limbs overnight. Also hope some clouds manage to sneak their way into what is forecast to be another hot, sunny day. Think I have had one day of coolish, cloudy weather since I left Britain and I miss it. Apologies for complaining when I am sure most of you would love a gorgeous, sunny day but it has been rather relentless and I am from Scotland after all.
