St John's

With no more snow overnight we were able to make our planned to trip to Cambridge today with the girls. We went to see the Family Concert by the Cambridge Philharmonic Society with Annie's stepmum and brother (with Ros and Sharon). It was great fun - wonderful orchestral pieces, tied together with energy, silliness and audience participation.

We all headed over to Pizza Express to dinner afterwards. We all parked in the back of St. John's College, and walked through the college to the restaurant. The picture (Chris') is a building in one of the college's quads - looking as icy as the wind felt, rattling through our bones! I (Annie) used to run around these buildings a lot when I was younger, as my dad was a fellow if the college. Not a bad playground.

The drive there and back was surprisingly easy given the weather, although you wouldn't know it from our car, which looks like it's done a scandinavian rally stage!
