An hour at the velodrome before going home.

Hi Everyone,
After the racing had finished last night, we went out for something to eat then back to the hotel for some sleep… Everyone was ready for bed due to the early start.

We popped into the track (velodrome) to watch Harvey ride in the qualifying rounds for the team pursuit. Harvey was selected to join the Welsh cycling academy a few months ago and once he finished his uni course in 3/ 4 months he will be training full time to represent Wales in the next Commonwealth Games.

The team rode well and were the 4th Fastest which means they would have to ride again for the bronze medal. We could not stay and see the final later in the day.

The 250-mile drive home went well lots of laughing and storytelling along the way.
