Better Days

This is not an uncommon sight in western Loudoun County - a later 18th c stone farmhouse, often near newish subdivisions spread across the fields. This one is in obvious need of repair - at least of the front porch - and is for rent. I drove down its driveway and found a shaggy peach cat who seemed abandoned as well, although she wasn’t thin so maybe not.
