Rain

Look at the band of blue sky in the distance. Sadly it never reached us, although the rain did stop for a while. 

Monday morning! What a catalogue of everything that could go wrong!
1 Traffic jams meant the schools coming today would be delayed.
2 one member of staff forgot she was working today.
3 The IT went wrong and the expert had to be called in.
4 The falconer arrived with Merlin the owl and imparted the news that the bird was being retired as from today! He is 9 years old and just doesn’t want to play anymore!
5 I covered the meet and greet for missing staff member and printed off the booking from last year! That one said they had paid, so I collected the children and later found out they hadn’t paid at all! 
Hoping for a better day tomorrow!
