Itsy Bitsy Spider!

Hello fellow Bliponians :-)

Today's Blip is of this cheeky little bugger. I spent 5 minutes trying to take a good photo and catch him from his good side (I'm pretty sure this isn't his face though, but it's the best shot I got!). I know you're all probably like "Umm Stacy 5 minutes... really? Surely there was something more interesting out there.... like a rock".

This little one was playing an interesting game of Peek-a-boo. Every time I went to take the photo he would crawl to the other side of the leaf, so I would walk around to take the photo from the other side. I'd take the photo, playback the image and he wasn't there... oh that's because he was back on the other side! Finally I got a photo. Now I was unaware that spiders could fly and jump and I thought they pretty much all did the same thing; scamper really fast and enjoy scaring people. So I was not expecting he/she to jump and fly, it scared the bejesus out of me.

I wanted to be able to tell you what kind of spider it was and give you all some really cool vital information, so I hopped on google and wikipedia to look up scary flying/jumping spiders in Australia.
All of the information I got was as follows, I have changed the names of the spiders to protect their identity:
"The Bla Bla Spider can be recognised from the distinct horizontal or vertical pattern in their web..."
"The Yada Yada Spider can be recognised from the markings on their back..."
"The Ra Ra spider can be identified from their very distinct eyes..."
Umm I'm sorry google and wikipedia but I am not going to get that close to a spider, especially if it jumps!!

In conclusion, the spider stood still from a few seconds and the rain drops on the leaf are quite pretty ;-)

The End!

Much love from Australia xx
