Hanbury Hall

We met our friends John and Jennie at Hanbury Hall, a National Trust property in Worcestershire.  The small cafe was packed so lunch was taken outside at a courtyard table. Luckily the sun was shining and the great tits after crumbs from the table kept us entertained.

Due to my incapacitation, see yesterday, I couldn't walk too far but we did have a nice wander round the garden before visiting the house.  The house dates back to 1706 standing in parkland. There are murals painted on the walls and ceiling of the staircase, this picture is a detail from the ceiling painting.
