Canal Banksy

Slept ok, but kept on waking up for some strange reason :-/ This morning was bright and certainly milder than of late, so we plumped for a walk along the canal to Leigh. It was pretty quiet along the banks, although we did bump into two friends who are also part of our GP Practice Patient Group. We had a quick natter before going our separate ways.

Todays blip is graffiti beheath one of the road bridges as we approached the town centre. The sunlight made it look weirdly attractive with those reflections, well I think so !!

We treated ourselves to a Costa for lunch, had a mooch around the Indoor Market before our return journey to the car.....we clocked up +11k steps. Thats two days with plenty of walking and hubs knee has stood up well!

Once back home, the first job was to clean up the blasted mess left outside our house by the bin men, for the second week in a row!!
I have taken photos and will be complaining to the Council!

Another grotty but necessary job was to disinfect and clean out the wheelie bins....the man who usually does them hasnt been today :-/. After that it was indoors & onto the laptop for a few emails and admin stuff before downloading todays images for Blip!
After this it will be into the kitchen to prepare dinner.... crab linguine tonight, with asparagus.

Later we will be off out quizzing, Thursdays dont half come around quickly!!
