Respite

Not sure you can see it in this lighting but the snow is falling steadily in a most picturesque manor, and has been all day. Rather nice for walking about in, well it was when we popped out to the butchers this morning and just now when I took Anna to a party at the end of out road. Not sure it will be so nice when we have to drive out to panto this afternoon. The morning was a full on cooking fest with my folks and our friend Sara here for a roast beef lunch.

In between the feast and the panto, I have more than an hour to lie on the bed, reading the papers and listening to a radio play. Heavenly.
