Sunset…

…………………..Colour



Possibly influenced by smoke from the fires in Australia as smoke was expected to drift towards NZ this weekend.


Today has been hot and busy - and no photos taken!  Then we realised the evening was lit with these spectacular colours so it was a quick trip to the Kumeras where this scene awaited us.


Thank you for so many lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip showing the dainty and delicately coloured flowers of the swan plant.



Latest news for my journal

The first suspected case of coronavirus in NZ has tested negative. I'm sure it is only time before it reaches our country, but for the moment, we breath a sigh of relief.


In other news, Brexit has become a reality in the UK - at 11pm UK time on Friday 31st January 2020 Britain officially left the European Union.
