Miss Maybell

Dear Diary,

This is little Maybelline (Maybell for short), Joe and Rhonda's new fur baby.  They lost their lovely little Sassy a few months ago (also a Pomeranian).  Maybell is very sweet and gentle and, thankfully, not a "yapper".  They are delighted with the wee lassie (and she does sort of look like a miniature collie) and I am delighted for them.

First day of spring in Celtic tradition today and St. Brigid's Day but it sure doesn't look very spring-like out there, grey and cold.  But there is a warm trend in our future and, thankfully, no snow storms.  Punxsutawney Phil, the prognosticating groundhog, will tell us tomorrow when spring will really arrive.  I hope he sees daffodils in our near future!
