Farewell Rip

We had to say bye bye to Rip last night, he suffered heart failure, just as we were going to bed.
He had had 16 happy years about 11 with his original master Joe, and then after Joe took ill, we looked after him and then adopted him.
He had his normal walk round the garden at bed time, and came in lay down on the floor and was cuddled until the vet came and he passed away very peacefully.
